Who we help

Bone Density & Muscle Mass Over 40

To be able to move well into old age, stay active, and feel good in your body.

Decreasing bone density and muscle mass becomes a real concern for many as they pass 40 years of age. Our bodies naturally begin to slow down, and holding onto that precious muscle can become more difficult. Women in particular face challenges as they pass through perimenopause and menopause, and exercise during these times becomes especially important.

Through our experience helping many women to improve their movement capacity we have found that most want to achieve the same things. To be able to move well into old age, stay active, and feel good in their bodies.

How we work

We start by finding the cause

We do a postural assessment and gait analysis to get both static and dynamic views of your body, then build an individualised training plan.

  1. 01

    Assess

    Posture, gait and history

Photos from four angles and slow motion video of you walking and running, with a detailed history of your injuries, exercise and day to day routine. Our comprehensive assessment adds a 3D postural scan.

  2. 02

    Correct

    Fundamentals and corrective exercises

Self myofascial release to prime the body, then corrective exercises that teach you what positions your body should be in and give you better body control.

  3. 03

    Integrate

    Dynamic, full body training

Once you have the basics, we load the body more heavily and challenge it with dynamic movements, strength training done in a way that corrects imbalances rather than compounding them.
