Who we help

Foot & Ankle Pain

Plantar fasciitis, Achilles pain and the root causes behind them.

If you’ve ever suffered with foot pain, you’ll understand the hardship and discomfort that comes along with it. The stabbing sensation under your heel when you touch the ground getting out of bed in the morning. The first few minutes of walking, hopping around until your foot “warms up”.

Injuries to the foot are becoming more and more common, with people looking to things like insoles, footwear, and over the counter medications like anti inflammatories to help alleviate symptoms. Our feet are the first contact point we have with the earth. They act like shock absorbers when moving, and give the rest of our body information about our environment.

How we work

We start by finding the cause

We do a postural assessment and gait analysis to get both static and dynamic views of your body, then build an individualised training plan.

  1. 01

    Assess

    Posture, gait and history

Photos from four angles and slow motion video of you walking and running, with a detailed history of your injuries, exercise and day to day routine. Our comprehensive assessment adds a 3D postural scan.

  2. 02

    Correct

    Fundamentals and corrective exercises

Self myofascial release to prime the body, then corrective exercises that teach you what positions your body should be in and give you better body control.

  3. 03

    Integrate

    Dynamic, full body training

Once you have the basics, we load the body more heavily and challenge it with dynamic movements, strength training done in a way that corrects imbalances rather than compounding them.
