
17 Mar Stephen’s Personal Journey with Functional Patterns
This is our very own FP Dublin Stephen’s posture progress. The before pictures were taken during Stephen’s first ever FP session when he was 18. He had never had any chronic pain in his life, however, at that time he had some small injuries/pains in his lower back, hips, groins and shoulders.
At the time, he considered himself athletic but frequently encountered minor injuries while playing sports. In the year leading up to his first Functional Patterns session, he began exploring various training methods to enhance his fitness, strength, and sports performance. He tried traditional strength training, bodybuilding exercises, and yoga, believing that yoga would provide a balance by improving flexibility. However, during this period, his injuries and pain became more frequent.
Today, Stephen has completed multiple Functional Patterns courses, is a certified Human Biomechanics Specialist, and is currently pain-free and in the best shape of his life.
